SNEAK PEEK INSIDE THE REPORT
1H 2025 AI Platforms Decision Maker Survey

  • From pilot purgatory to production: GenAI is moving from pilot to production, with 37% of organizations in advanced maturity stages—expected to rise to 56% by 2026. This marks a clear shift toward enterprise-wide integration. A striking 71% of organizations now believe GenAI will cause "widespread" or "fundamental" industry transformation within five years, a significant increase from 56% in 2024.
  • Beyond content creation to core operations: While customer service (63%) remains the top use case, GenAI is increasingly being applied to automation (56%) and data analysis (54%), signaling its deepening role in core operations.
  • Agentic AI – still experimental but proving impact: 55% are in research/pilot phases, yet early adopters report strong ROI in operations (63%) and product development (62%). Customer service (53%) and IT operations (48%) lead deployment priorities, while growing confidence in autonomous AI for regulated, high-stakes decisions is evident in financial compliance (35%) and fraud detection (32%) use cases – signaling that trust is building even in mission-critical areas.
  • OpenAI dominates, but a multi-model future is emerging: OpenAI GPT (61%) leads adoption overall, but larger enterprises and the APAC region are more likely to adopt multi-model strategies, driven by needs for customization, performance, and data sovereignty.

  • Cloud is king, but hybrid and specialized clouds are on the rise: Public cloud (especially Azure and Google Gemini) remains the primary deployment mode, but hybrid setups, private clouds, and GPU-optimized neoclouds (e.g., Coreweave) are gaining traction for performance-sensitive and customizable use cases.
